IN A SERIES OF 1-1 CONVERSATIONS, ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS AND INTERVIEWS.
WE WILL TALK ABOUT TOPICS THAT HAVE AND STILL ARE RELEVANT
NOT ONLY IN MY PRACTICE BUT ALSO FOR THE ARTS IN THE UK IN THE 21ST CENTUARY.
the two 'ROUND TABLE TALKS' will investigate questions related to:
ART - ACT - ACTIVISM - ART with James Brady, Jane Lawson and Matt Baker,
IMPACT without IMPACT with Chris Freemantle, Kerry Morrison and Ruth Levene
all conversations are public - but space in the Basement is limited, so book a place via Eventbrite

1 April - Paul Haywood / I met Paul when he was guest artist in my, then hometown, Bielefeld in Germany. We collaborated on several occasions, some of them at crucial points in my career.
Paul is now deputy dean at Central Saint Martins in London.

12 April - Chumpon Apisuk / Chumpon has been continuously promote performance art in Thailand since 80s and is one of a well-known performance artists in Asia. Since 1996, he has performed in Germany, England, Quebec, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, Australia and USA.
He found Concrete House in 1993, an art and community interactive art venue in Thailand and “Asiatopia – an International Performance Art Festival in Thailand”, since 1998, which he is still a director.
Chumpon is known for his activism in AIDS, Human Rights, and democracy.

27 may - Uwe Rueth / Uwe was the founding director (1978 until 2007) of the Sculpture Museum in Marl/Germany, the museum for in- and outdoor sculptures. In 2002 he initiated the German Sound Art Award, the first award for this subject in Germany
He commissioned work of mine while I was still living in Germany (as early as 1986) as well as after I had moved to Britain.
